Synopsis:
When researching family history, making use of court records will eventually become a necessity. Since most genealogical research is organized along county boundaries, researchers must educate themselves in knowing what records are available at American county courthouses. This is especially true with reference to utilizing land/tax, probate, and vital records, which, in the opinion of many experts, are the three most important types of records for genealogical research in courthouse records. This seminar will discuss the most useful strategies necessary for research success.
