CEMETERIES SURVEYED FOR THE MGS COMPILATION
A total of 35 cemeteries or burial areas in Manatee County (representing burials from 1850 to 1980) were surveyed for death information and tombstone inscriptions. Thirty White and five Black Cemeteries were included in the project. These cemeteries are listed below.
